Reuters Asks If Trump Is 'Sick of Traveling' After 14 Rallies in 14 Days. Trump: 'I Feel Perfect'
Trump says he's skipping Kansas this weekend because Sen. Roger Marshall is "doing very well" and will hold a telerally instead. Then he turned the health question on the reporter: "Put yourself in shape."

President Trump stepped off Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews on Thursday, back from a rally in Rock Hill, S.C., his 14th rally in 14 days. A reporter asked how he was feeling. "Good. I think very good," Trump said. "We had a great rally."
Then a Reuters reporter tried again: "So you not going to Kansas has nothing to do with you being sick of traveling?"
"Oh, you're sick to ask that question. You are sick. Who you with?" Trump said. Told it was Reuters, he answered, "Reuters is terrible, by the way," and turned the question around. "Look at this guy. He's way out of shape."
Trump explained the Kansas call himself. "I'm not going to Kansas because he's doing very well," he said, meaning Sen. Roger Marshall. "I'm going to do a telerally. Tomorrow I'm doing Florida." He asked what more the reporter wanted "after doing, what, 28?" and finished: "You've been following me for two weeks. I feel perfect. You are disgusting. Put yourself in shape. You look like h***."
Two weeks, 14 rallies
The schedule backs him up. From Oct. 16 through Thursday, Trump held 14 in-person midterm rallies in 14 days, in 11 states, from Dalton, Ga., to Port Huron, Mich., to Lubbock, Texas. He took one day off, Sunday, Oct. 18, and did two rallies on Oct. 27, in Corpus Christi and Lubbock. Thursday's stop in Rock Hill, for Sen. Darline Graham, was his 25th rally of October by our count.

Many of those nights ran close to two hours on stage. His voice has gone hoarse from the nightly speeches. The pace hasn't changed. Friday night he is booked at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla., doors at 3:30 p.m., according to the GOP's event listing.
What changed for the weekend
Trump had been set to hold a second Kansas rally, at Salina Regional Airport, on Saturday. He already rallied in Park City, Kan., for Marshall on Oct. 19. Kansas GOP Chair Danedri Herbert confirmed Thursday that the Salina event was off and said she heard it from the Republican National Committee. A planned Sunday rally in Iowa was dropped as well.
In their place, the White House says Trump will hold more than 20 telerallies before Election Day, phone rallies that reach voters in their homes across nearly two dozen states at once. "Voters across the country want to hear from President Trump before Election Day, and this 72-hour sprint will be a huge boost in the closing days," RNC Chair Joe Gruters said.
Is Marshall doing well?
Polls in Kansas are close, but the race still leans Marshall's way. Decision Desk HQ's forecast, updated Thursday, gives Marshall a 58% chance to win and projects him ahead by 3 points. A RedBox Research poll taken Oct. 20 to 23 had Marshall at 45.7% and Democrat Adam Hamilton, a Methodist pastor, at 45%. A CNN poll released Thursday had Hamilton up 4, inside its 4.5-point margin of error. Kansas has not sent a Democrat to the Senate since 1932, and Trump carried the state by 16 points in 2024.
Marshall has spent the final weeks tying Hamilton to Chuck Schumer, as we reported from the last debate. In the RedBox poll, 66.4% of Kansas likely voters said they want someone other than Schumer leading the Senate if Democrats win it.
The question behind the question
Reporters have pressed Trump about his health for weeks. His answer Thursday was the same one he gives every night: show up. He'll do it again in Florida on Friday, five days before the Nov. 3 midterms, while his telerallies cover Kansas and Iowa from the phone.
